Miss Megan Auzenbergs

I am an epidemiologist with an interest in the use of statistical and mathematical models to inform infectious disease control. My team and I currently collaborate with UNICEF and the World Health Organization within the Global Polio Eradication Initiative to support vaccination strategies and policy decisions for controlling poliomyelitis and preventing future outbreaks.

I have also worked on vaccine impact modelling for measles, HPV and rotavirus alongside the Vaccine Impact Modelling Consortium. As part of the COVID-19 working group within the Centre for Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases, I contributed to works assessing the role of climate in COVID-19 mitigation strategies and risk factors for infection in low and middle income countries.
